"Alo Presidente" and the Cultural Revolution (13 July 2009)
Hugo Chavez's program Alo Presidente is part of Venezuela's cultural revolution which is concurrent with the socialist revolution. Cultural revolution is the means by which the revolution raises the consciousness of the people to the level required in the socialst revolutionary project for a particular country. The majority of the people insure that truth required for human development/progress at each stage of the socialist revolution is put out to the people. Much of this work in Venezuela is done through the "Alo Presidente" program hosted by Hugo Chavez, but also there is the work done by Venezuela's majority party (PSUV) and its community organizations and leaders.
